About Us
We are a vibrant team of art and project management professionals from BCU's School of Art. With 16 members hailing from diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds, diversity is our strength and our differences empower us.
We gather at School of Art, the incubator of creativity, where we embrace the charm of contemporary art through perception, exploration, and creation. We firmly believe that it is through the integration of various perspectives and thinking styles that we can soar "Up to the highest height, dance on the breeze, like a bird in flight."
WHAT ARE WE DOING
Participants are invited to come and take some Matcha tea and add their own mark or symbol to a kite that will become part of train kite, to be flown later in the year. The MA Arts and Project Management cohort welcome contributions from College of Art and Design Community.
OUR AIMS
We strive to foster a sense of community among university students from diverse backgrounds by promoting learning through making and celebrating cultural diversity. Our open-air event will serve as a platform to explore different cultures and their symbolism through art and creative expression. We extend our invitation to the Birmingham community and Birmingham City University, inviting everyone to embrace their inner child for a day and rediscover the joy of kite-flying together.
