SUSTAINABILITY MISSION
As a project group we not only want this project to be a success, but we want it to be sustainable too! Along with being environmentally conscious, we are also aware of our carbon footprint and are working on recording and reducing that. We are using 'Julie's Bicycle' as a way of tracking our carbon emissions.
Sustainability Analysis
3.1 kg of carbon used!
With the majority of our project team travelling on foot those who take transport, take public means as a way to reduce any extra carbon in the atmosphere. This figure is for one week's session, it will be updated once we have flown the kite.
Recycling
We work extra hard to ensure any materials bought and used are able to be reused or recycled! our kite materials are being used in an art instillation and will be gifted to the next cohort of MA arts and project management students.
Print based marketing
The majority of our marketing materials will be online and digital to lessen material wastage. Printed marketing was done in house and collected by foot.
